Lermond Engineering Limited was engaged to undertake the construction of pre-bored H-pile foundations for proposed noise barrier structures under the Kwu Tung North New Development Area Phase 1 Site Formation and Infrastructure Works.
As part of one of Hong Kong's major strategic development initiatives, the project supports the long-term development of the Kwu Tung North New Development Area and its future residential and community infrastructure. The works included the installation and testing of 610mm diameter pre-bored H-piles together with associated foundation construction activities for the proposed noise barriers.
The project required close coordination with the main contractor and project team to ensure compliance with stringent quality and safety requirements.
