Lermond Engineering Limited was engaged to undertake the bored pile works for the Landside Fire Station under the Hong Kong International Airport Three-Runway System Project (Contract No. 3804). As part of one of Hong Kong's most significant infrastructure developments, the project supports the long-term expansion of airport facilities and operational capabilities.
The works comprised the construction of large diameter bored pile foundations ranging from 1800mm to 2500mm in diameter to support the proposed fire station development. Given the stringent quality, safety, and programme requirements associated with airport infrastructure works, the project demanded careful planning, close coordination, and rigorous construction control throughout all stages of execution.
Through its extensive experience in large diameter bored pile construction and foundation engineering, Lermond successfully delivered the works in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements, contributing to the ongoing development of Hong Kong International Airport's Three-Runway System.
