Lermond Engineering Limited was engaged to undertake the bored pile works for the East Fire Station under the Hong Kong International Airport Three-Runway System Project (Contract No. 3804). The project formed part of the strategic expansion of Hong Kong International Airport, supporting the operational requirements and emergency response facilities associated with the Three-Runway System development.
The works comprised the construction of large diameter bored pile foundations ranging from 1800mm to 2000mm in diameter to support the proposed East Fire Station development. As part of a major airport infrastructure project, the works were carried out under stringent quality, safety, and programme requirements, requiring close coordination with the project team and careful construction planning.
