Lermond Engineering Limited was engaged to undertake the foundation, site formation, excavation and lateral support (ELS), and drainage works for the residential development at 30 Po Shan Road, Hong Kong. Located within the prestigious Mid-Levels residential district, the project was characterized by significant site constraints, limited working space, and the challenges associated with construction in a dense urban environment.
The works included the construction of large diameter bored piles ranging from 1500mm to 2500mm in diameter, together with pile caps, sheet pile wall systems, drainage works, and associated foundation activities. Due to the confined nature of the site and the proximity of existing developments, careful planning, sequencing, and coordination were essential throughout all stages of construction.
